MajorityWhile most wanted to reverse Plessy and declare segregation in public schools to be unconstitutional, they had various reasons for doing so. So this made the court decision let the kids go to school in a segregated school which then became an integrated school.

DissentingThe 1954 US Supreme Court verdict in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka was unanimous in declaring segregation a violation of the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause. There was no dissenting opinion.
